We have a slow morning, again, and finally make it to our water sports appointment around half noon.  (everyone here says half 7 when they mean 7:30... weird, I know!)  Lauren goes wake boarding (quite well at that), and then we all hit up the banana boat which is somewhat childish but still amusing as all heck.
We venture to the amazing pool complex and find our way to the swim up bar where we meet 2 older Welsh couples.  Within no time, the girls are singing and dancing show tunes to the absolute joy of our new found friends.  We pack up and I hit up the business center to do some work/blog updating while the girls hit up a yoga class.  Tough life, huh?

Before we know it, we are off to the airport and on to Kuala Lumpur.  We get in at 11 and change in time to meet up with Malin (19-year old Swedish girl from Ko Pha Ngan) and hit up a bunch of clubs in KL (Ghetto Heaven and Loft)...

We meet some welsh/scottish guys who recruit me to play soccer with them in Singapore in 2 days and have fun dancing with a group of Persian guys who are straight out of a movie with their choreographed dance moves!  The clubs and bars we go to are awesome and I have to say that being in the company of three beautiful girls is a bit overwhelming, if not enjoyable... We all hit up the hotel for some late night room service which was a mess to say the least!

Lauren decided to contribute to the blog so here is her excerpt:
Wow...It is safe to say that I am in full swing with this traveling business! That is...I'm really enjoying bee-bopping around all over with my two travel buddies! I feel like we are the 3 Musketeers ready for any adventure that comes our way. (As long as its in 5 star hotel style! Haha..jk) Thailand and Malaysia are amazing. But it's the little things like the inside jokes, silly games, and lots of shared laughs that have really made this trip for me. The landscape is breathtaking and the people seem like an eastern version of the California surf dude... all relaxed and unfazed by the whirlwind that is life surrounding their tropical paradise of a country. They take their lives one day at a time and seem to soak up every second they are given... never rushing... like they want to squeeze out that very last drop of yummy daytime. This vibe is refreshing for a girl like me who is constantly on the move and always racing off to yet another date or appointment. I like letting go... even if sometimes I have to train myself how to do so... and go halfway around the world to accomplish it! We haven't gotten to Singapore yet... but so far my fave activities have been wakeboarding, dancing, and eating!  And believe me, its a hard task to choose favorites when we have done so many amazing things like yoga on the beach, massages during sunset, banana boating during the day, hours of reading and tanning... and oh, did I mention the food?! Haha I love the food here! Now, on a serious note... something that is most important to me... I love that I get to be included on Mat's amazing adventure. I know this part of the trip that I am partaking in is only one small piece of his journey, but I realize now before later even comes how lucky I am to be but one puzzlepiece... What fantastic memories we are making!
