Finally I'm able to take advantage of a lazy morning to catch up on my sleep, writing and planning my next trip segments.  After a while I feel like I'm wasting time looking ahead and walk around downtown Cape Town.  I browse Green Market Square and walk into the Jewish Museum (where the main exhibit is Hidden Treasures of Japanese Art, which other than being owned by someone Jewish really has no relation) before grabbing a quick lunch at the restaurant on Christine's roof top, Synergy on 7.

I swing by Noah's apartment and we head to Clifton beach to soak in some sun, play Frisbee and swim in the icy cold waters of the Atlantic.  The beach is beautiful and the fact that the water is so frigid in the dead of summer is the only thing preventing this place from being paradise!  We stop by Camp's Bay for my first ice cream since leaving the states and then head home to regroup.

Christine comes home from work (who actually works anyways?) and picks me up for a night on the town.  We hit up a posh bar in Camp's Bay before meeting a small group for dinner at Castle Hotel.  The food is good but the company is better.  Dingo Dave (goes by Dingo) is from Australia and is a radio personality in Cape Town.  Dingo is absolutely hilarious and I agree to meet him in Sydney when I pass through as he is moving back home in a few months.  He reminds me of a combination of a bunch of my guy friends from home with a funny accent!
From dinner, we stop by a house party in Sea Point before making rounds to three bars to check out the scene.  It's a shame I don't have more time to stay here as the city is gorgeous, the nightlife is hopping, and there seem to be an endless amount of activities to do in the surrounding area.  We get home around 2 and I stay awake to update the blog until 5 or so... I'm all caught up though!
