After finding out the hard way that 9 hour flights and being 6 feet tall don't mesh very well Amanda and I landed in London and had a three hour layover before arriving in Prague!!! After arriving safely at our apartment we met up with a fellow classmate and started to check out the town.

First of all let me just say how disappointed I am that the toilets don't flush in the opposite direction as I had been led to believe and second, I'm still taller than 75%25 of the female population...at least here in Prague, so far. The architecture here, however, is indescribable. Every building whether old or new puts America to shame in the attention to detail.

We also got to meet up with a class mate of ours from South Texas, Paul, as well as several other of our classmates. After getting our phone situations handled (firstworldprobs) we headed to a bar a few doors down and met the nice German bartender and his beautiful golden retriever Hagäs. (Let's pretend I spelled that right).

Across the hall from Amanda and I is a girl from a law school in Florida. Her boyfriend was supposed to come with her but ended up having to stay for a trial and she was brave enough to still come on her own, so naturally Amanda and I took her under our wing and she's turned out to be super funny and sweet!!!

Next was dinner at the pizza Coliseum in town in Prague 5 and let me tell you, after having been up for 30 hours that pizza could not arrive fast enough. I'm beyond exhausted so this post is probably not the most entertaining but tomorrow's orientation at Charles University and the trip into Prague 1 should be incredible.

Enjoy the pictures from today!!
