Darrell and his wife said they would ride over to N.O. with me and show me some of the cool spots. We saw a few really amazing bands and visited some voodoo shops for a good laugh. I really liked the town but I don't think I would ever want to be there during Mardigras. I ended up staying on another guys couch from couchsurfing.com for 2 nights. He is a vegetarian and took me to a vegi-fest which had vegetarian/vegan food and information about animal rights and all that stuff. Surprisingly, some of the food was actually pretty good but I still think some of them are off their rockers. The last night I was there the C.S.H(couch surfing host) took me to a free dinner some Hindus put together every Sunday. It was amazingly good and it was a nice change from Mexican food.
