I was suppose to stay at another adventure riders house for a night but he said he would give me free lessons if I wanted them. To top it off he let me stay at his place for free. Darrell and his wife are some of the nicest people. It sometimes shocks me how kind people are. If anyone is down in Louisiana and need scuba stuff, you need to stop here. After getting certified, Darrell's buddy P-Nut took me over to Florida for a weekend of scuba diving in Vortex springs and Morrison Springs. It was a kick ass weekend and I only saw one person die. During the first dive I saw this old guy swim under me and I thought to myself, man he looks old. Come to find out later, he wasn't feeling good and came to the surface. Not too long after getting out he collapsed from what I was told was a heart attach. They brought him back to life a couple times but lost him on the helicopter ride to the hospital. We ended up diving 5 times and spent about 5 hours under water. So far 80 feet is the deepest I've been.
