LOL! Weeeell, today I woke up excited, thinking I would be drinking Coronas in Mexico tonight, but fate thought differently. We loaded up the bikes, ate some chow, and I bought some last minute supplies. I noticed that I would be needing a new rear tire in the future so I looked around town and nobody had one. I figured that I would order one in Mazitlan so we headed to the border. We wanted to get gas and food before we crossed over so we pulled into the closest restaurant which happened to be the world famous Mickey D's. We ate the healthiest slop on the menu and Paul broke the news to me. His radiator fan wasn't working. So we headed back to Yuma to get it looked at. Go figure, nobody has tires or parts for either of our bikes. So once again fate gives us another wedgie. Paul is trouble shooting the fan to see if it's the switch, the fan motor, or the thermostat. If it's the switch, I will use my jimmy rigging abilities to attach a new switch to the handle bars for manual on and off Paul pretending to fix his bike

. If we can't fix it then Paul will be heading to Phoenix and then home and I will be crossing over into Mexico by myself. LOL, I will never forget this trip, it's such a pain in the ass! At least we are both getting a good laugh out of it. Wish me luck!

!!!Update!!!
While I was updating the blog above he was trying to fix the problem. After I finished blabbing, I went out to help him. I pulled out the maintenance manual and ran through the schematic diagram. Long story short I checked a fuse and what do you know... blown. We replaced it an we are good for tomorrow. I guess 5 years working on electronics wasn't a waste of time. LOL!
