Went white water rafting and did a wine tour, visited their massive park, where we went to an outdoor swimming pool. Other than that just strolled around the city, which has lots of artisan stalls with cool hand-crafted bits and bobs.
Not doing a summary because this is short enough for you to read it all !!
Peak season in Mendoza and as such it was hard to get accommodation, checked into a hotel for the first night and then moved to a dorm in a hostel for the other two nights. It was our first experience with dorm accommodation, wasn´t bad and you get to meet lots of people but still nicer having your own space. We stayed in Hostal Independencia, just off the main square, which is really good for meeting people anyway as it has a common room and a bar. Met three cool Americans, or North Americans I should say so as not to offend the locals here, a couple from San Fran and a guy from New Haven.
