We arrived in Mar Del Plata on Monday 28th from Buenos Aires by bus, thank god this bus was only 5 hours and not 15or more. We had initally only planned to spend 2 days there but signed up for spanish lessons so we ended up staying for 5days. We didn't do to much other than the spanish lessons. We had 4 different lessons that ranged from 1.5hours to 3hours and we had thursday free because it was labour day.

The lessons went fine but unfortunately we're not fluent just yet :). On Wednesday one of our teachers asked us would we mind speaking to his class of teenage pupils because they love speaking to native english speakers and have never met anyone Irish. We said no problem and went into the class once they were all seated and they had to guess where we were from, once they guessed right we showed them our passports and they asked us loads of questions. They couldn't believe that myself and Mairead have been going out for 7years and aren't married :). We also played some traditional Irish music and a song from Mundy for them to which they tried to sing along to, it was very funny. Mairead then showed them her Irish dancing skills and got them up to try teach them, after she exhausted the hop 2,3s she started throwing in some line dancing moves which the Argentinaians done there best to copy.

On friday we left Mar Del Plata at 7.30 on a 19 hour bus trip to go to Bariloche.
