We broke our journey in Dubai again, and spent our time wondering around areas we havenīt visited before.
This mainly involved trying to stay in the shade as much as possible ( we have just spent the winter in England so ten minutes in the sun here and we are cooked !! )
As you can appreciate we didnīt get very far during day light hours, but the evening was nice.
We only spent one night here. It gave us just enough time to have a traditional meal in a local restaurant. The usual fare was served........pita bread, chicken, lamb kebabs, salad and pickled salted vegetables......all rather tasty.
Having stayed in Dubai for a week last year to celebrate Caroline's BIG 40 we were now very acquainted on how to get about. Even the evening temperatures we 35 degrees!!!
