We rented a car in Fairbanks and had a lovely drive to Denali National Park, stopping in Healy to stay for a couple of nights at the Denali Dome Home B&B. http://www.denalidomehome.com/

At Denali you are able to drive into the park about 15 miles; the rest of the way to the end of the road is limited to either park buses, or private lodge transport. We didn't realize (inadequate research) that you could stay at a facility deep into the park; we will next time! The furthest into the park you can go is to
Denali NP: Eielson Center
Wonder Lake. We chose not to stay on the bus for the extra two hours and went to check out the Eielson Center. A very informative center.We hope you enjoy the images taken in Denali; they are too small to do justice displaying what we saw and experienced. At least open them and see them in a larger format.
