We barely got any sleep last night.  We woke up earlier than we had planned, thinking we had plenty of time to get to the airport.  Our first glitch was when we found out that a 2-day train pass does NOT mean 48 means 2 calendar days!  :P  So we had to scramble to get on the train to begin with!  Then we got on the wrong platform, which was to take us to Paris' OTHER airport!  Ugh!  We didn't actually get on the train, but we missed the one we needed.  Of course, this was after dad had to stand around and get his coffee.  And finally, as usual, dad underestimated the amount of time it would take the train to get to the airport.  He was all freaking out, because our train arrived at the minute that the boarding pass said, "Gates close...with or without you!"  Dad was already working on Plan B, but I told him we would make it.   Sure enough, after we got through security they just started boarding our flight.  Hurray!  I was right!  :P  So we ended up getting on the plane just in time for a thankfully boring 1 hour flight to Geneva.

When we landed we got our bags, hopped into our rental car and headed off for the mountains of Switzerland!  We was hungry so we stopped at a Swiss McDonalds.  Our little Mac-venture began after we ordered and the woman refused to take anything but Swiss Francs (we didn't have any), although they would take a credit card.  Fine.  Except...the machine was turned off and dad's card got eaten by it.  lol.  So our food was ready, and we had no way to pay for it!!  Fortunately, the manager came out (who spoke English) and promised us that we could have our meal for free and he would get the card out.  Sure enough, after I went out to the car to grab my lucky bunny and camera, the card was free and so were we!!  Yay bunny!! <3

Next stop Zermatt and the Matterhorn!  We will have pix and flix up on Wednesday.
