Hello (again)

Not much has happened since my last entry- unfortunately I did not see Toumani and I was'nt too impressed with the Diplomat club. There were too many tourists in all natural fabrics and dreadlocks, or white guys in african robes, and rich locals.

I much preferred Djembe on Wednesday night when I was the only tourist and members of the crowd got up to sing!

Anyway like I say just a couple of heavy driving days and bushcamps- however as the observant among you will note- I am now in Senegal.

We are off to Niakolo National Park today for a couple of days- hopefully I'll see a hippo or two (and have a shower!).

Anyway Happy St David's Day!

Happy St. David's day to you as well.
I think Toumani has started a world tour with Ali F-T, they are in the UK later this year at a few festivals. They've put a new CD out together, which we'll get.
Hope you see some hippos.

Hello Petal,

A run down of the weekend's results

Chelsea 2 Man City 4
Liverpool 2 Blackburn 1
Stoke 1 Arsenal 3
Tottenham 2 Everton 1
Burnley 1 Pompey 2 (Pompey have entered administration)
Leicester 3 Forest 0

League Cup Final
Villa 1 Man U 2

I believe you have seen you were at the house party in spirit on Saturday in the shape of a Saxa bottle with a fantastic moustache. I think your general appearance was captured well.

Glad you are having a nice time, I enjoyed the title of the last blog immensely. Have you seen El Hadj Diouf, Yaya Toure or Akon in Senegal? I heard they were walking the streets on a daily basis.

I will have an update on the weekend fixtures as and when they happen.

Keep going hard-hard in Senegal,

John and Annie on

Sounds like a wonderful time you're having. Could do with some of that heat here, it snowed again yesterday. Keep safe.
