After being over a month in Iran I never expected to come across such a horrible place like this.
The police here is completely paranoid about the security of foreigners and practically would not let me go on the streets without armed escorts!! They made such a fuzz about me walking alone on the streets and actually managed to brain wash me: now I am afraid of leaving the hotel. But to tell you the truth I feel safer on my own; I believe being escorted by an officer attracts a lot more attention and we could eventually become a target. If walk around alone I can go unnoticed - I look Iranian somehow!
Everybody here is terrified about us foreigners being shot or kidnapped by the Beluch terrorists, but I do not know what is worse: taking the very slight risk of this happening or having to face the harassment of over cautions police who claim to want to protect you but, in fact, take your freedom to move around and keep you waiting for escorts that never come.
I hope I make it to the border soon!!!!

Strangely, I think this strange pictures are the most fantastic up to now. The men are so different and the bricks picture is weird and beautiful, so is the picture of the road in Taftan. Funny.
I've been away because of the Copa and because I've been sick (again). Ate cake and was very very sick since I was supposed to be in a lactose-free diet. I'll tell you in a email.

I completely agree with her - those stranger photos are the best you´ve posted up to now. I really enjoy watching people - even (or mainly) when they look like ghosts.
When you get here I will get a copy of those pictures.
