It is hard to believe that the day to visit Persepolis arrived!!! But, to be honest, I was not impressed with it. I could not get the feel of how great this place once was + you have plenty of tourists looking around - what ruins it for me.
I much preferred the tombs of Darius I, etc. The site is really amazing and impressive!
Shiraz does not have much to see (...or maybe I am tired of sightseeing), but there is the beautiful tomb of the most famous Iranian poet: Hafez.
It is very nice to see who Iranians venerate this poet; I admire them for paying so much homage to an artist.
