What a beautiful and picturesque place this is!! And Masuleh is supposed to be at least a millennium old.
This village, perched on the steep hills of humid northern Iran, instantly captivates you.
After taking a Savari (shared taxi) to Fuman I continued my way in a minibus. Going up through lush green valleys with lots of rice fields was a pleasure in itself. When I got to Masuleh the weather was foggy and cold, which added an extra charm to my short visit and set me off on a photographing craze! I hope you like the pictures.
There are 800 people living here - according to my local friend Merhid.
