I actually like this border town very much. I guess I am very glad to leave noisy and expensive Baku behind!
The train left Baku at 8:30 and arrived at the southern tip of Azerbaijan at 15:30.
The journey was nice and peaceful.
I am still getting used to my new life as a traveller but it is quite exciting to be become an attraction wherever I go - specially considering everybody loves to hear I am Brazilian. Maybe the first Brazilian they come across in their lives. People are very curious here - while writing this entry I had several young men come behind my computer and check what I am doing. I do not mind, I actually like their simple ways.
I am staying at this picturesque small hotel by the beach!! Quiet and peaceful. The only two other guests seem to be army soldiers.
Tomorrow I should find my way to Iran - I am so excited!!!!

Iran
Hi Luiz

I just remembered something, I hope you have the telephone and address of Brazilian embassy in Iran, Azerbaijan and Paquistan.

Just because it would be safe, Clovis's friend Argos who was in Iran last year had to call the Brazilian embassy and it was a good thing he had their number.

I hate to mother you but here it goes:
Ambassador: Mr. Luiz Antonio Fachini Gomes
Iran Brazilian Embassy
no. 58, Vanak Street
Vanak Square Tehran
Postal Code 19968
Sunday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00
tel emergencial p. cidadaos brasileiros 0098-912-1485200
email: emb_brazil@yahoo.com
fax 00 98 21 803 3348

You probably have all those details already but anyway.
Beijos!
