You can reach Morelia over the highway 37 in 3 hours from Lazaro Cardenas. The way was amazing that's the real Mexico how you can see it in every movie. Many cactus's near the street, the landscape is beautiful and a lot of lakes in the dryness. I just thought, that's the real Mexico. We have seen this place in our travel guide since that time it was clear, I want see this city.
The city is very clean the temperature is during the day between 15 and 20°C in the night about 5°C because of the altitude. It is about 2000 meters.
We have seen many nice buildings like the cathedral and in baroque style built houses. But one night was definitively to short. It was enough to see the city center, no more.
