Today all of us, bar Martin, set out for a day of game driving in Solio. Solio is the other game conservancy very close to Martin and Tiddy's farm. It consists of 23,000 acres of grass plains, bush lands and a marsh. Solio is famous for its relatively large population of Rhinos.

We drove round the park in the Landcruiser with all of the roof 'lids' open so that we started off standing on the seats and looking out from these openings, after lunch taking to riding on the roof of the car ... which is fantastic as it is a good view point for seeing all of the wildlife.

During the day, we saw LOTS of white rhino, buffalos and antelope. I thought that I was hallucinating shortly after lunch as I saw a big cat (probably a leopard) leap out of a tree in front of our car before running off into the bush. Luckily Muriel saw it too!!!!

All in all it was a fab day of safari which finished with all of us having a last dinner together.
