We got on the train at 3pm and everyone was very friendly and nice and chatty. We amused ourselves until about 9pm when it was 'attempt to go to sleep time', which was alot easier for me than for tom. Lets just say he can't sleep unless hes lying down entirely vertical...which is hard on a train, or a plane, or a bus...where you seat only reclines so far. However, the train was a little better because it had an extra leg rest that pops up, as well as the foot rest. so it was like the reclining chairs we have at home..which the fam bam knows are very easy to fall asleep in, for me anyway. Tom had lots of trouble getting comfortable...but I think we both managed to sleep for a substantial amount of time, so good work train =D
We got to Orlando at about 10:30am on monday and it took a while to figure out where we were and how to get where we had to go. We figured we were kind of on the outside of downtown so decided to walk to see if we could find a maccas or a starbucks to get some free wifi. Instead we found a dunkin donuts! YUM, with free wifi too :) so our hotel is a longggg way away from downstown Orlando, as in it would have taken 5 hours to walk, which tom suggested we do originally and I immediatey said no. We looked up buses instead and the bus website had a trip planner, so we used it and it told us exactly what we had to do. So almost 3 hours later, and 3 buses later, we got to our hotel! Its cool, it has 2 pools and a spa, magic shows on monday nights, its own foodcourt, and a guest laundry! So thats what we did first, laundry, because we had run out of clothes since the last time we washed was the first day in new york. At least this time we didnt have to carry our washing for 3 blocks to get to the laundry.
Then we had some dinner and went to sleep so we could wake up super early to start the fun at Universal studios!
