Day 4
Friday 14th November
Just a very quick one as I'm going to Vegas soon and still need to pack! The weather is amazing here right now, it's 89F today which I think must be around 30 C (I don't do farenheit but that's all they use here) Yesterday I got the train to LA and spent the afternoon walking around Hollywood - did some shopping, had the biggest salad ever in a diner and saw the famous sights like the footprints and stars along Hollywood Blvd. I met 'Elvis' outside Graumann's Chinese Theater who I posed for a photo with and he asked me on a date, but I turned him down as he's a little old for my liking ;) Last night I had amazing mozzerella in breadcrumbs at a local restuarant (Heather would love it!) and the night before Paul and Chris took me to Yoghurtland which is like an icecream parlour but yoghurt instead, in tonnes of flavours and healthier than icecream, and we also went to a teashop which sold millions of flavours of green tea (my fave non-alcoholic drink) and had cool jelly-like bubbles in them... gotta go back soon!
Still not hooked my laptop up to broadband as I can't seem to get the connection working, will try again next week, so no photos intil that's sorted, but I have soon cool ones to add and will have more from this weekend of course!
Off to drive through the baking hot Mojave desert to Vegas in a minute, Paul's taking his laptop and Luxor has free broadband so I'll try update at some point inbetween the gambling, partying and eating. I can't wait - I've never spent my birthday in a desert and never had 30c weather for it either... bring on being 25!
