Adele left today! The end of an era. I’ll have to come up with a whole new set of in jokes. The end of one adventure and the beginning of a new one. Some awesome times though from the sunsets of boracay,to the eclipse by the Ganges, elephant rides, buckets, canoeing, stinging leaves, injuries, fancy dress, fireworks, the Taj Mahal, twin towers, beaches, embassies, the runs, trains, planes and tuk-tuks, new friends, Mai Tais and paddling pools to mention a few. We’ll have a load of stories and will be painful for a while. Hope all is lovely again at home. Love you lots!

After dropping Adele to the airport today I had a few tears and myself and John promised to look after each other and have another super adventure. Adventure started in the Black Pearl our ridiculously overpriced rental car. A Mitsubishi Lancer with daycint alloys, triptronic gears, cruise control and tinted windows. Flashpacking much but we did look super cool!

When we arrived back to the others in Sydney we decided to go spinning to the beaches around Sydney. We dropped Aine to her bridge climb and we headed off with Leah Connor and Lucy from Leeds to the beaches. We went to Maroubra first. Loads of surfers at this beach and not a nice place to swim so after a brief walk around we headed to Coogee to hang out and shop for a BBQ. Coogee was busy as usual and the BBQs were full mostly with other back packers making there dinner and drinking. We decided to move on from there too and went to Bronte for a look. By this stage it was getting late and the water would be cold and BBQ areas full so we ended up outside Conors house again to be bitten all over for a second time. We eat our food and didn’t stay long like the first night but decided to head back to George St and go out. We collected Aine from her bridge climb and we headed out to a few bars around our back packers.

It was a nice day. Good luck to Adele. At least you got Xmas dinner when you got home.

See you in a few months

Love Lucy and John xxx
