Hey all! Having a hoolie here.
Went to the Gloworm caves in Paihia! So cool! We weren't allowed take photos though! Dose! It was so pretty though. A local Maori guy Solomon took us and a few others through beautiful volcanic caves. He had a latern and the woman at the back of the group had another. When we were deep in the caves they switched them off! The whole ceiling of the caves was aglow with little star like creatures. It was amazing, like looking up into a clear night sky. Everyone was silent and perhaps a little freaked out when Solomon kept on talking about all the different types of spiders in the caves. The gloworms look like small brown sticks when they're not alight. They shine the lights to attract insects. The sun literally shines out of their arses! Charming though! We were lead around the caves ducking and weaving under stalagtites and mites. Apparently, at midnight the whole cave is illuminated by the gloworms bottoms and you can go through it torchless! How weird is that?

Love ye!

No news for you Margaret- Prince William was in Auckland and Wellington and he said a four letter swear word! They're also debating whether to stay in the common wealth. And a local poll voted that local ladies like men with hairy backs! What's going on back home. Miss the updates. OH and Cairns is going to be struck by floods and hurricane someone or other?
