Up bright and early to set off again. Nothing like a good coffee with powdered milk to start the day yuk!

Accidentally ran over a lizard's tail while it was crossing the road, we think it was a Guana, it was massive.

The terrain has become more 'outbacky' now, not as green. There are lots of dead kangaroos and wedge tailed eagles soaring above, much like the drive to Uluru.

Policeman flagged us down, we were worried that we had done something wrong. Ended up just giving us advice on how to drive through the outback, like road train safety etc, nice fella.

Saw a couple of snakes and strange looking birds, as about as exciting as today's journey got.

Went through a little town called Croydon, couldn't believe it. Naturally had to get out and get a picture of the sign. There was nothing there, where's the Blue Orchid?!

Stayed the night just outside of Normanton in a rest area, saw the most amazing stars and even a shooting star awesome!
