Grotty Town!

We unfortunately missed the last bus of the evening to Cherating and had to spend a night in the grotty little town of Kuantan, the whole place looked like a council estate - it was horrible! There was absolutely nothing going on here, we couldn't even find anywhere to get a decent meal and ended up having a sandwich from a 7-11 shop for dinner, we did however wash it down with a bottle of beer.
Poor Matt had to wake up on his birthday on a crappy camp bed in possibly the worst guest house we have stayed in yet (worse then Singapore), so we were up at 6 am and couldn't wait to get outta there!!
Think we were the only foreigners in town - think we know why!
