CLimbed up the Franz Josef glacier, an experience out of this world. The glacier is quite unstable, that's why going with a guide is essential, it advances about 5 meters per DAY. In the village we got all our gear and then we tackled the glacier, it was challanging at time and a sense of ballance is very much required. But then once up there after an hour and a half staight climb, they view is just fascinating, there are no words to describe it, i am so happy to have done this, this is definitely a highlight.
