Tuesday, we left on a catamaran, a trip we organised to get to Panamá from Columbia. The options are very restricted, and we had to search to find something decent. We could have taken the plane, but we saw so much more that way. The owners of the boat (a french man and venezuelian woman) accepted to take us to San Blas, an archipelago situated at the north of Panamá. We were five passengers, us 2 and two french brothers and sisters, and a an australian girl. We had the best time. The trip lasted 4 days, the first two navigating non stop. During the first night, we all had an hour and a half shift to check the surroundings and make sure we were going the right way, while others were sleeping. At the end of the two days, we arrived in San Blas. On the third and fourth day, we spent a lot of time swimming, snorkeling (we saw some amazing sea life), sunbathing and visiting the islands around and its population called the Kuna.
The boat was very pleasant, with everything on board to keep us happy during our stay, and the people we sailed with, a great bunch.
The last day, we organised a jeep to take us to Panamá city. It was a 4hour trip through the forest on a very bumpy road, sitting at the back. We had so much fun, it started to rain heavily and we got soaked. A few of us (among them, me) had sun burns so we could be touched and it made the trip rather painful, but i keep nonetheless a great memory of all the moments we spent (even being sea sick ha ha)
