We climbed Apacaya volcano for about two hours with a tour and saw real lava! That was quite an experience, it was so so hot, we were alsmot burning our skin, but the lava was moving and amazing.
Antigua is a very nice little place, all cobblestoned, very toursity a bit expensive. Still we found cheap accommodation  and food, the tour was good value. This place is a week end destination for Guatematecas.
