Hi All,

This morning we got up, had breakfast with Jessica and Adam and then Luc and I took an express ferry from Busan to Fukuoka, Japan. The ferry was really neat as it runs on jet turbines, like planes. It glides on top of the water--it seems as though it doesn't even touch the water. Rather than being a 12 hour ride, it only takes 3 hours!!!

We took a cab to our hostel (well, as near to our hostel as the cab driver understood...again, the language barrier is unbelievable, and can be frustrating at some times(. The hostel is very clean, has free internet, bathrooms, etc. Our room is very tiny and only has bunk beds...but at least it\s a private room!

We were very lucky with our timing as there was a Festival going on today, so we went to the city center and enjoyed the time. there was a parade and a lot of dancing. We saw people dance in their traditional outfits...very neat!!

We will be here until wednesday and hope to see castles, hotsprings, and a really nice park!

xoxo

Greetings from Ottawa
Montreal lost 6-4 last night...no more Canadian teams in NHL play-offs.

We have just viewed all your photos...great...what an experience for both of you. We are very envious...

Scott just put the animal carriers together...I put Misty's favorite blanket in one of them and he is actually snoozing there now !! He must anxious for his big trip .

Our days for the next few weeks will be busy...packing..planning....and saying bye to everyone...our calendar is booked :-)

take care..and we look forward to speaking with you both (skype) again soon..

love
