Phi Phi was so beautifull we couldn't just transit, we found ourselves staying the night. Our bungalow was just fine for one night, but not somewhere to make a home of if ya know what i mean.

The ferry from Krabi to Phi Phi was lovely, all young travellers like ourselves. WE arrived in Phi Phi (the most beautifull place EVER... home of the movie the beach, the old school james bond etc...), as soon as we got off the pier we walked across a strip of land to another beach on the other side of the island (only a 2 minute walk), and hopped into the ocean straight-away, well, after of course some undercover changing into bikini action. Then into the ocean, LOVELY!!! We decided we had to stay. Walked through town a few times, found some lunch ( i hadn't eaten all day and was absolutely starving), and booked a bungalow on long beach. We then took our longtail boat (you know, one of those open ocean gondola looking deals with the propeller attached to a long pole), to our bungalow. I dont think beth had ever been exposed to the... jump off the longtail into waist high water with your backpack on method of reaching shore, but she did it. We were shown to our room, which as is said, was acceptable... but thats about it. Then straight to our own private beach. There were three young guys being adorable and chasing eachother about and reacind etc... quite a funny people watching day. Beth and i swam about for some time, and then retreated the teh shade of an enormous tree to do some reading. We showered up in our 'eastern shower'.. im quite used to these now, and headed to our bungalow's resteraunt. I had the best fried glass noodles with soy and chicken as of yet, and was quite pleased. They were showing pirates of the carribean on the tele, but ive seen this movie so many times i dont need to watch it anymore to know all the lines. So i retired to the room to read, beth hung around by the tele. Then sleep, and we woke this morning to pack up and head out.

Breakfast at our bungalow (just some toast and a banana... 'protein', i hear my dad changing this ridiculous protein mantra every time i see a banana... like when he would fling a slice of american cheese at me as i was walking out the door at 6am in highschool for gilroy's zero hour class, 'protein'.) Then we longboated it (again, with the jumping into waisthigh ocean method) to the pier. But this time we shared our longboat, with a young japanese couple. The woman looked appaled with the thought of getting wet. Her boyfriend actually picked her up, walked through the water and put her up on the boat... beth and i nearly vomited on this pathetic lady. I wrote a million postcards, and then boarded our ferry to Phuket... to be continued...
