Wash out of a day

Today was a complete wash out and I spent it on the couch doing nothing but sleeping, feeling rather ill, watching an occasional soap opera and drinking gastrolyte. My cousin did more surveys. The car dealership is giving her a terrible run around about her car.
That evening her other son and his wife came over with their kids as they were going out to dinner at the church. I retired to the bedroom and did not come out a lot. Just to get water and that sort of thing.
