We went to the Canning Vale Markets in the morning and saw many things including rescue parrots.  We had breakfast bacon and egg burgers which were 'way better than anything MacDonald's ever dreamed of.  Our main reason for going was so Helen could buy yellow kangaroo paws which she was able to do.  We drove back along the Canning River looking at the lovely older houses on our way back.
In the afternoon, my cousins picked me up and we made our way back to their place via a couple of interesting art exhibits.  They live in a somewhat rural area of Perth south of town and into the hills.  Up a huge steep hill.  They have two dogs as well.  He was in the midst of cooking a delicious roast for dinner and we went out first to have a look at a set of gardens just up the hill from them.  I think it was called Amberlea Gardens.  Saw some cormorants and a man made waterfall.  Not to mention a lizard which I have forgotten the name of. We had a delicious dinner of roast beef, carrots, squash, peas and potatoes as well as a berry pie for dessert.  We went over some family stuff and they called his Dad, Bob.
I met their nephew, who is about 19, and his girlfriend.  I think we had very good rapport and am so glad I was able to meet them.  I told all of them that I hoped all would continue to go well for them in their lives and that if they ever get to Canada there are a whole host of Roffs who would be more than eager to meet them.
