On the way to Barcelona we stopped at the Roman aqueduct, Pont du Gard. Although we wished we could go swimming, we only had about an hour to sight see and eat some lunch before heading back to the bus. Once in Barcelona, we saw Gaudi's Sagrada Familia Cathedral, which is still under construction, and the '92 Olympic complex. Beach at Barcelona

Our first night at the campsite, we hung out at the beach (our camp was right at the beach) and enojoyed some sangria. We spent a lot of the next day shopping on La Rambla, which is a famous shopping street in Spain. Lara and I, and our two australian roommates, did some real damage at these shops! near the gothic quarter

We also enjoyed some really good tapas for lunch. That night we went out to experience the 'party' life in Barcelona (which really wasn't too too exciting... but they don't close til about 6am).
