I didn't get much sleep Friday night. Waiting awake for the first day of our skiing holidays. At last it was time to get up! I couldn't wait to get in the car. But last minute cleaning and waiting for Josh to arrive stopped us getting on the road until around 12:30pm. Josh, Hayley and Elyse sat in the back playing the psp portable and the nintendo. Amy and I watched a couple of movies before... the remote ran out of batteirs! It took one and a half hours and four stops at servic stations and super markets before we found the battery. Before we new it we had arrived at the Keotong Pub. The best pub on the way to Thredbo. I choose the chicken snitzle. Amy, Elyse and Hayley had nachos and Josh had chicken nuggets and chips. Unfortantly for me those meals were on the quick menu. So they were finished before I had got my meal. But by that time I was so hungry, I quickly gobbled it down. We were on our way to Corryong when everyone was done. We were all tierd by then. We had showers one by one (a very slow way!) and it was about twenty to ten before we were settled in our nice warm beds. Sitting in a car all day doesn't seem exhausting, but take it from me, it is!
I was exiited for the day ahead of me so I got to sleep straight away. And soon it was 7 am!
