I woke up a little before Lynda came and woke me up. I pulled on a jumped and went down stairs for breakfast. The breakfast was bad as there was no nutella, just jam. I have no problem with jam, but it doesn't hold a candle to nutella. After breakfast I got dressed and ready, then we set out for the Leonardo Davinci museum. It was a castle and it was super beautiful. We walked around there are a while and chilled about. After an hour or so in the castle, we went back to the random’s house and had lunch. Lunch went for three hours. I’m not exaggerating. After lunch we went to another French castle, Called Chateau Amboise. It was truly beautiful. We listen to the iPod commentary while viewing room after room. The chateau was huge and it was nice for a little while to imagine myself as a princess of that time living there. The gardens was huge and nicely planted, and in summer I could imagine it would be amazing. We were there until closing time and were one of the last ones out. We drove to the main street and had a look then head off to one last castle before returning back to where we are staying. I figured out that we are staying with Lynda’s dad’s brother. After having a well deserved shower and answering a few overdue e-mails I headed downstairs for nibbles before dinner. I met Emma’s grandmother and her partner. Lynda’s mum. She is very petit. In fact everyone in France is small- I feel like a giant all the time. Then I think what if David was to come to France, he would be like a building and I feel a bit better. She gave me a present of a book with French castles in it, which was so lovely and thoughtful of her. We ate dinner and it was tasty. But I have already gained weight over here, I’m sure of it. My 4 pack, is now a flab pack. I talked to my parents on Skype, the first time, which was nice.
