Today we got up really early and left the hotel by 20 to 8. We had a 3 hour bus trip until we got to the great wall. Last year we did a very touristy spot but this year we did a hike along the really old part of the great wall. Some parts of it didn't have the side wall bits, it was just the foot path. It was breath taking the view! Some parts of the wall were so steep! I had to crawl on my hands and knees. Words couldn't describe the wall, you'd just have to experience it for yourself.
We had a long bus trip back, and most of us wanted to slept but listened to our tour guide instead. The bus stunk! Everyone was sweaty and gross. Finally we made it to the hotel and we all went for a swim. Dad had seen a 'Pizzamania' advertisement a few times for the hotel night buffet. But once we got there, there were 3 small pizzas. And they were cold. So much for 'Pizzamania'!
Mum made it clear that it was an early night so we went to bed around 9:00pm.
We'll have pizzamania at Daylesford. We can all make some pita breads pizzas and bring them over to one unit and share. Liam likes this meal as he can have it - Minus the cheese of course. Sound like a plan?? Sounds like a plan to me.
