Eat a burger...

This was merely a stop between Berlin and Amsterdam, but still another place to tick off the list.
We only had an afternoon in Hamburg, but we were told to eat a hamburger, even though they didn't originate here. They were actually invented in America by a man who was from Hamburg - so there you go! Again, I arrived into another freezing cold place in Germany in my thongs. At first it wasn't too bad as the rest of me was all rugged up, but soon my toes turned a lovely blue colour, and Big Rob, Chef and Mia thought it be a good idea for me to buy some shoes. After a wonder through the massive electronics store we headed towards the shops. Found a bargain shoe shop - and Big Rob picked out some lovely shoes and socks for me to wear around Hamburg - you'll see the photo!
We wandered a smidge more looking for a good pub to go eat our hamburger, and have a beer. Instead we settled on a nice-looking cafe/restaurant. I think the waiter was more camp than a row of tents, and has spent far too long in a solarium, but he was lovely towards us. I was the only one to have a burger out of the 4 of us, and it was a delicious burger too!! After eating we went and played in the Lego shop, and wandered some more. I took more random photos, and we got back on the bus and went to the hotel! Nice dinner tonight, then hung out with a few peeps in the bar till bedtime - early night in prep for Amsterdam!!
