Well, sitting around the common room one night, a few of us were all saying how we missed a good Aussie sausage sizzle. In the hostel quite a few people were going to be away for xmas, so we had a little party early to celebrate with all our friends, and yes, you guessed it, we had a sausage sizzle!!
About 13 of us were there, and we had the traditional sausages on bread, I bought a few beef patties, chips and dips, soft drinks... the only thing we couldn't replicate was cooking it all on a BBQ - so the grill had to do.
It was a fun couple hours, and I guess for the first time it felt like Christmas for me.
Hope you like the photos - I did do my best to keep 'Aussie' by wearing a bonds singlet, Fosters cap, and thongs (even with my funky socks under neath!).
