I had to get up early again today as I was volunteering at the International Visitor's Centre at the ALA meeting.  I headed out around 9:30am ready for my 10-11am stint.  It was actually quite fun - I was doing it alongside a mad librarian from Boston so we had a laugh.  There were some truly odd librarians about, but that just provided extra amusement.  After my time was up I had a quick wander around the exhibit hall before heading back at around 11:30am.
 
Sarah and I then went for a wander around Downtown Disney.  It was incredibly hot so we stopped for a Jamba Juice.  We had a look around the various shops - a mix of Disney stores, little booths and more traditional stores.  We went back to the hotel at around 1:30pm and collected Sarah's luggage.  We set off up Highway 5 once again.  We decided to stop at Universal City and pay a visit to the Hard Rock Café.  We also had a look around the other stores whilst there and grabbed a bit of lunch.  We then decided to head into Beverly Hills and check out some of the stars' homes.  We got a bit lost and kept going up one way streets and dead ends.  We almost ended up in someone's drive at one point.  Still, we saw a fair few homes to drool over!
 
At around 5pm we headed on down to LAX and I dropped Sarah off just before 5:30pm.  We said our goodbyes and I then headed off back to Anaheim.  I used a different highway for this journey and it was much quicker - hurrah!  By the time I got back I had time to colour my hair and pack my luggage before heading back to Downtown Disney to meet up with Frankie and Chloe for dinner.  We arranged to meet at the Rainforest Café and they were already in the bar when I arrived - there's a surprise!  We got our ticket and had an hour to wait so we decided to have a wander around the shops again.
 
At 9pm we returned to the café and browsed around the store being shown to our table by the aquarium.  I got my smoothie served in a flashing lightning glass - cool!  I had a rainforest burger and fries for dinner - very good.  We left the café at around 11pm and I dropped them off at the hotel before heading back to my room to watch some baseball highlights before bed.
