San Antonio was beautiful. The hotel kind of stunk but we got comped a couple of the nights. :)
We walked all over. It was cool because there was a anime convention in town and there were so many people walking around dressed up. We went on a trolley tour and learned so much.
It was great meeting up with my friend, Jana because we had never met before. :)
The Alamo was so cool. Amazing seeing it for real. This whole trip is so dream like. it is wonderful to see how the landscape is changing with every mile. What an experience.

My parents went to church this morning and they said there was a mariachi band there. Very cool!

Today we drove but we stopped in Fort Stockton, TX to take pictures. The clown(Tex) is back from his one day hiatus. (pics to follow soon.) My dad and I bought $5 in scratch off this morning and got our money back plus 3. Not too much but it was fun.

Tomorrow, Carlsbad Caverns and on to New Mexico and another time zone. Night all.

Great photos of the Alamo and Riverwalk. I remember the one time we saw Riverwalk it was really beautiful. It wasn't long after that they built OceanWalk in Hollywood and it's a shame like the other "tourist" - "shopping areas across the country that it fell on it's face;o(

When driving across country as I was telling your Dad, it reminds me of the song "America the Beautiful". You see it all unfold just like the words in the song. Great trip...Holden graduating from high school and starting a new phase in life and Aunt Renée starting her new phase in life--"her retirement! A great thing for them and for your Mom and Dad too! You had a great iedea.
