It was great seeing mum and dad waiting for me at arrivals, we had some big hugs and left for home. Cosby's good too, recovering well despite not really enjoying his physio (apparently he pooed in the hydrotherapy pool twice lmao), and it is always comforting to be safe and sound back somewhere familiar, knowing you don't have to keep constantly moving. This really has been the trip of a lifetime; I've done so much, met so many people I hope will remain good friends, enjoyed every minute, and I'm never ever going to forget it. I have no regrets. Only thing is, I'm already planning my return :D all I need to do now is learn the language, raise the money and find the time. Wish me luck.

I hope you've enjoyed reading my blog, thank you for being such a great audience.

Nihon ga daisuku desu ;)

Steven on

Loiuse, I thoroughly enjoyed your blog, meeting you, and travelling with you on the Osaka to Tokyo legs of the trip. It was a real treat to see Tokyo through the eyes of you and Carli - who have such a knowledge and interest in Japanese culture. I would have missed some interesting aspects of Japan if it were not for you gals encouraging us to look around every corner! Carli and I hope one day we can meet up with you on another trip, perhaps to England, and we can reminisce about Japan. Thanks for the diary blog. Sincere regards, Steven
