The Beginning

Well. Away we go.... the first leg of the year long journey. Sheffield to Heathrow by train is done! After tears at the station, we settled down to a few wines and Lous gourmet cheese sandwich! The first night in Heathrow hotel is done. The last bit of class, before departing, is done? Well almost!!!.... As I am writing this, we have just checked in to the executive lounge at Heathrow. For a mere £17pp, we have a peaceful lounge (no scum in sight), with a refreshment section that is help yourself to Beers, wines, spirits and snacks (All at no extra cost!) Dan was scared, expecting to receive a hefty bill for all drinks taken and 'stolen'! But it was just there for the taking! A scary thought when Lou is around! No real stories to tell so far. The first morning saw a 'FEW', last minute/"essential" additions to the rucksacks (well Dan's anyway). I feel that many pounds (weight) will be shed! Dan was struck with some pre-trip nerves. Would this be to do with the exciting things ahead?! Or would it be the prospect of chasing my sleep walking girlfriend, around the hostel each night. Please make up your own mind. Train
