Hey, well last night after my spa massage I decided to round up afew of the other hostel dwellers and we headed to Lava Bar.  Was a good night though wasn't the most eventful it was still good to get out for afew drinks.  An unlikly crew of myself, a Swede, an Argentinian and a German but fun none the less.

Woke up ruined this morning and had to be out of the hostel for 10am so I just wondered about Rotorua's main street for a while.  My bus left at 11.25 and I got into Taupo at 12.30.

The weather has turned crappy and it's heavy rain so definately no skydive today.  I travelled down with another girl from the Rotorua hostel who's from England, Amandeep.  She's staying at a different hostel here but I'm sue I'll bump into her again in Wellingtno or the south island.

As for today being a washout I just took a shuttle bus up to Huka Falls which is a beautiful place.  The colour of the water is something else and the strength of the water powers more than 8 hydro electric stations and gives around 15% of electricity to NZ.

Other than that I'm sitting writing this wondering what to do for dinner.  An early night is called for tonight before my epic journey to Wellington tomorrow.  That'll take about 6 hours.

I've just been up to my dorm before coming online and I'm sharing with 2 other Northern Irelanders.. not sure about the other one as I haven't met them.  So it is indeed a small world, as I keep saying...

The weather's set to be crap all weekend while I'm in Wellington but I can hope it gets better..
