Well I'm updating this on 18th Sept so I have actually been back afew days..

I came home early for several reasons.  Some to do with voluntary work - I wasn't getting any and it seems to have the 'privilege' of helping people I would have had to pay rather large amounts of cash which to me seems stupid.  The way I see it the people who don't have time give money and those who give time, give their time.. but apparently not.

The weather,although in some shots I took and put on here seem fine, was mostly dreary and with several storms.  I know I mentioned one before which had 10 metre waves! 

All this added to some other events which couldn't have been forseen meant that my trip inland to Bloemfontein was cancelled.. so, realistically there was no reason to stay any longer.  It was less of a holiday and more stressful then intended.

So, here I am, back in NI, and I'm loving being home early.  Seeing people and having fun about here for afew weeks before New Zealand.  Unfortunately I don't have the budget to go to NZ earlier and it would mean paying to change flights and some other stuff I'd pre-booked so I really can't afford it!

Checked my bank account this morning for the first time in about 5 weeks.. gave myself a shock so I'll have to be more careful with money here on in!
