Its always good when you have to fake a Russian accent just to pronounce the town name... Cesky Krumlov being a fine example.
The old town was lovely, complete with cobbled streets, a castle on the hill (and picturesque snow frosted roofs. Ahhh, even better when contemplated through the window from inside the toasty warm hostel.
There are no trolls under the castle bridges but even better, there are 3 grizzly bears.

Sampling the local food was also an experience - half liters of beer to wash down deep fried cheese, potatoes in every form and dumplings stuffed with berries, dusted with sugar and swimming in melted butter. Which for some reason has me thinking about the size 8 bridesmaid dress I'm supposed to be able to get into for Candice and Pickles' wedding. Can't imagine why.

its ok, I've been skiing it off :)
You have to unleash you inner bridezilla for a little bit... all the yelling at people can be kinda fun ;)

Well actually, I found my dress on Saturday, and that actually seems to have given me some direction and feeling more inclined to actually do some more planning. Have to get a celebrant. How did you feel about yours? how far in advance did you need to book?
