Rishikesh is the yoga capital of the world (or so it calls itself) filled with ashrams & yoga-aficionados. There's plenty of westerners roaming about cloaked in sheets fulfilling their 2-week spiritual odyssey, which is a bit annoying; however, the setting is beautiful, with the Himalayas rising behind the Ganges. Unfortunately, this time of the year it's too hot for yoga or even walk around...so our 5 days were spent going from cafe-hangout to another, getting massages, spending time with Holly & Martyn who we happily reunited with, and realizing how small the world is when I ran into a fellow university-mate from Spain...
