A Palace & Ashtanga Yoga

After a very bumpy and crowded bus ride which ended up taking annoying 5 hours instead of 3, we arrived in Mysore. Nathan couldn't move since he had to stand in the bus and I couldn't see since I was blinded from the dust.
Mysore is great city with a beautiful palace, a great market (Devaraja Market) and some world class yoga. We only stayed 1.5 days but I did squeeze in a class of Ashtanga yoga at Mandala Yogashala school (thanks Chris & Suzanne for taking me) which was the toughest class I ever had and made me feel like a looser but a happy one :)...the people in the class were real pro's and the strict teacher called me out constantly and kept pushing me down further and further...now, 2 days later, I still have trouble moving but it was a great class.
Anyhow, Mysore was nice even though we found the hotel/restaurant scene not so hot. We do recommend the Green Hotel for at least dinner. More thumbnails ...
