Since we were 4 now we decided to splurge and take a rickshaw from Alleppey directly to Fort Cochi (which at $4 person isn't really splurging) and our driver was so great that he took us on the scenic route past fishing villages and the friendliest locals.
In Fort Cochi we settled in our nice hotel and roamed the town which is sooo relaxing...I (Alex) couldn't miss out on an Aryuveda Massage so I got my body rubbed in oil..looked like a greasy paratha afterwards but with a smile.

We recommend:
- Arches Hotel for all the comforts...at a price
- Teapot (Death by chocolate cake)
- Kashi Art Cafe
- Malabar Winebar (in case you have a craving for a Kingfisher substitute)
