Guadalajara, second most populous city in Mexico. An extremely safe place to walk around, but in our experience lacked a lot of the charm found in other Mexican cities. We stayed in Tlaquepaque the first night which was pleasant enough and then headed into the central district for our remaining two nights. Stayed in the beautiful Casa Vilasanta and roamed around the city, including the shopping mall (whewwww!!).
