Saturday afternoon at Foxfire Zipline and Suspension Bridge high above G'burg. All 6 of us played that day.
Tots will have to wait for a few years to Zip...and I hope to be with them on their first!! Brian, Lori and Penny, all Zip virgins were game to join me on my second zip experience, the first was in Costa Rica a few years ago. This was very much better...longer and more pitch added to the excitement. We split into two teams Penny with me while Brian and Lori watched kids and then we switched.Lori first:
Each group of 'high flyers' was made up of 10 folks plus 2 guides: Several of our compatriots white knuckled it to start, but with encouragement and successes, all found their confidence before their final touchdown. Now Penny's set:

Today is granddaughter Lori's birthday and to celebrate we will have her recipe of Crocked Minestrone followed by Nana-made Rhubarb Crisp made with freshly-picked, bright pink plump stalks from Penny's garden. We love these co-op meals! We also celebrated with several adventures: Zip lining and Lori got first tat while Brian got his refreshed at Sieverville parlor., and Nana and Grams had the fun of both a daylight and nighttime pool splash party with the tots
