Hello everyone today we went back to the Petrified Forest where we saw a lot of petrified wood!  We became Junior Rangers.  Then we went to a ranger talk where we played "Rigged" Jeopardy.  We lost very badly.  Then we took a little hike around the visitor center to see some of the biggest pieces of petrified wood.  These trees are over 200 million years old!  That is incredible!  After that the ranger said we can take a trail that not a lot of people take, it was kind of like a secret trail.  We drove a few miles and started walking.  It looked like we hiked straight into the mountains.  It was very hot but we did get to see some real fossils on the rocks.  These fossils are from the Triassic Period way before the bigger dinosaurs appeared.  Then we came back to the car.  That's when we headed towards home!  Ohh noo! Our trip is almost over!  But first we had to have Cracker Barrel, Mom's favorite road trip restaurant.  As always, the food was delicious.  Too bad they don't have a Cracker Barrel in California.  After dinner we actually started going home.  After an eight hour drive we finally made it home!  Good Night.

P.S I have one more blog to post.
